The "D" in DL — Dan Woodland
Dan Woodland is the founder and owner of DL Design and Construction. His passion for building started when he was a young man, working alongside his grandpa Nelson. Together, they built his family's home in Nephi — and it was there that Dan learned skills that would shape the rest of his life.
From concrete and framing to roofing, drywall, finish work, and painting, Dan absorbed everything he could during those early years. He loved working with his hands and being outside, and it didn't take long for him to realize he wanted to make construction his career.
Dan went on to study construction management at Southern Utah University, where he refined the hands-on knowledge he'd gained growing up. Over the years, he's taken those foundational skills and honed them into the experienced contractor he is today. He has surrounded himself with amazing subcontractors and employees, and together they've adopted a theme that guides every project: "If you can dream it, we can build it."
